Festival della Malvasia di Sala Baganza

Mindful of how much the "Malvasia Salese" has been a source of pride and a point of reference for the Parma wine production, the then newly formed Pro Loco in 1996 established the "La Cosèta d'Or" award (the bowl of gold) for the best Malvasia dei Colli di Parma wine with the support of the Municipal Administration and the collaboration of the Voluntary Consortium for the Protection of the Wines of the Parma Hills. The event has developed over the years until and is today a highly anticipated annual event. Guided tours of local cellars, events and guided tours of the Sala Baganza Wine Museum, with insights into Malvasia, tastings, sale of food and wine products and concerts, ending with the awarding of the best Malvasia dei Colli di Parma.
