Malvasia di Candia Day (Monterosso Val d’Arda Festival)

During the Monterosso Val d'Arda Festival there is the Malvasia di Candia Day, born to celebrate Malvasia di Candia Aromatica, a vine with unique characteristics, capable of giving very different wines according to the producer and the terroir. The event has also become an opportunity to promote tourism in the Val d'Arda and give a boost to all that the Piacenza area has to offer. For two days the representatives of the local wineries present their white wines along the via della "barricaia", which is also enlivened by art exhibitions, musical performances and succulent gastronomic preparations.
